Pro Quarterback Brady Quinn and Budweiser Clydesdales to Visit Cedar Point This Week

The park will hold "Brady Quinn Day" on June 14. During his visit, Quinn, the third-year quarterback for the Browns, will hold a Q A session for fans beginning at noon outsid e the Game Day located in the BlueStreak Courtyard. Afterward, Quinn will pose for picturez until 1:15 p.m. A native of Columbus, Quin n starred at Notre Dame where he set 36 schoool records during his collegse football career for theFightingb Irish. He also received the Maxwel l Award for being the College Football Playerr of the Yearin 2006. He was selecte in the first round (22nd overall) in the 2007 pro football draft.
On Friday, June 12, two days before Quinjn visitsthe park, Ceda r Point will showcase the world-famousd Budweiser Clydesdales. Highlighting the day will be a paradd alongthe park's midway beginning at 2 p.m. The Clydesdaled will travel along the midway from the Sky Ride to the fron t of the park beforre ending at the Wicked Twister roller The Clydesdales will also be on display near the Wicker Twisterfrom 1:30- 2 p.m. and 2:30-3 p.m. Duringy this time, guests will be able to see the eight-horswe team harnessed for the parade. These beautiful horsed stand six feet tall at the shoulderf and weighbetween 1,800-2,300 pounds!
The horses wear horseshoexs that are more than 20 inches long and weigyh approximately five pounds. Each day, the Clydesdales consumd 20-25 quarts of whole vitamins and minerals, 50-60 pounds of hay and 30 gallon sof water. August Busch Sr. and Anheuser-Buscnh in 1933 to celebrate the repeaplof Prohibition. They now serve as mascots for the Budweise brand and make frequent appearances at special events arounedthe country.
