When James Smith decided to organiz e a Green Building Focus conferencein Birmingham, he had no idea it woulrd generate so much interest. Smith said the latest conference expansion will allow for up to 250 exhibitors in the North Hall of the conventionb centerand 3,000 attendees in its concert hall for “Our intent is to sell out,” he “We’ve been marketing it heavily in the Southeast and peoples have signed up from all the surrounding states. We expect to see a good blenr of professionals andgovernment officials.” So far, he said, several hundref people have registered to attend and he expectse many more by the month of the conference.
